This pictures says a lot. Not only can we custom machine your new swim platform, but we can also custom carve the surface with your boats name, or a custom design.

We welcome all of you out there with wooden boats, or wooden parts on your boats that need repair or replacement.  For years we have quietly served a need for the wood boating enthusiast by helping them maintain their treasured boats.  We are ready to serve you with our on hand supply of Teak in thicknesses from 4/4 to 8/4, and other species such as Mahogany, Sitka Spruce, Marine Fir plywood and Okoume Plywood.  We know there are many boat owners who struggle to find a source for lumber, plywood, or shop services in the marine area.  We are here for you.  Please read on to learn more.

14ft Mahogany Plywood Boat

This 14′ Mahogany plywood boat is about to receive a solid Mahogany seat back for the rear passenger seat after 60 years of not having one! The new seat back will fold down flat so the Captain can service the outboard motor, battery and fuel tank which are carried between the rear seat and transom.

HOW WE WORK

Most of our clients bring their old worn out, partially decaying, or just plane broken wood parts to us.  We lay the pieces out and discuss with the client what they are looking for.  Sometimes our clients are the new owners of an older boat which has undergone several attempts to stabilize a design deficiency with poor results.  Other times our customers have owned their boats for a number of years and cannot nurse the worn out parts any longer.  Together we discuss how to proceed and come up with a plan.  This approach has worked extremely well for us and for our customers.  We have made many new swim platforms over the years.  Some of them are a complete new design from what was brought into us, but most are exact replacements.   Recently we re-constructed a hatch cover that had 4 lose rails and no lid!  That’s right, the lid, or panel was completely gone.  It happens, doesn’t it?

We have access to many marine products such as specialty plywood, resins, finishes, and others that allow our solutions to be almost endless for your project.  Give us a call or email some photos of your boat to us so we can help you return your boat back to “normal”.
