This beautiful species has a heartwood that ranges from a pinkish red to a darker reddish brown with darker purple or black streaks. Sapwood is a pale straw color and is clearly demarcated from the heartwood. This curated selection featured a pomelle grain pattern.
This exquisite 15″ x 87″ board is English Elm in burl, commonly called Carpathian Elm. Its heartwood is light to medium reddish brown and it features a beautiful burl. It’s easy to see this as a showpiece shelf in a bar or display.

This exquisite 24″ x 99″ board is English Elm in burl, commonly called Carpathian Elm. Its heartwood is light to medium reddish brown and it features a beautiful burl. It’s easy to see this as a showpiece shelf in a bar or display.
This special item has a kaleidoscope of different colors, ranging from yellow, orange, red, and shades of brown with streaks of black or purple. Its grain is straight and interlocked, with a fine, even texture.
With a heartwood that runs from a dark purple to a reddish brown, this is a beautiful wood that could be used to accent any work. The grain is straight with a fine, uniform texture and a high natural luster.
This unique board measures 10″ X 38″ and is 1/2″ in thickness. It has a heartwood that is a rather uniform pinkish brown, sometimes darker reddish brown. The color tends to darken with age. Its grain is somewhat wavy with a fine, even texture.
These very unique board is highly figured and has a heartwood that is yellow to orangish brown, darkening with age. We have two of these special boards in inventory. The other has the same specifications. but is slightly wider, at 20″.
This beautiful specimen features a color that varies from yellow to orangish brown, that will darken with age. The grain varies from straight to interlocked to wavy with a texture that is fine and even, with a good natural luster.
We have set aside a collection of Purpleheart, a beautiful hardwood that displays a unique color profile that displays hues of brown, cordovan, and purple among others. With further age and exposure to UV light, the wood becomes a dark brown with a hint of purple

Customers can expect to find that the vast majority of Parkerville’s retail lumber has been kiln-dried to industry standards and has been surfaced (skip-planed) on two sides with one edge ripped straight. The list below reflects those species that you’re most likely to find in our inventory; however, with the exception of our curated wood products, this list does not reflect all of the lumber we may have on hand at any given time.
