Greetings Friends,
Here’s wishing you all the very best over the upcoming Holiday Season. On behalf of myself and our entire staff here at Parkerville, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for utilizing our services and purchasing our products and thereby supporting our talented, dedicated workforce and their families. We are grateful beyond words.
Last month, I mentioned a large stash of wood that we were negotiating to purchase. The lumber has been stored in a building in Manchester, VT for the past 4 years or so. We did end up buying the material and are now trying to get the inventory back here in CT. The lot is approximately 55,000 board feet, most of the material is Walnut and Cherry with maybe a couple of thousand board feet of Quarter Sawn White Oak. As some of you are aware, we are very tight on space. We do have a couple of options in the works to help rectify the problem.
We continue to be busy with wood sales and larger commercial and residential projects. We have added several new employees recently to help with our workload and in anticipation of moving a lot of wood from VT and MA. Some recent projects include 2 different prototypes for full-scale curtainwall mock-ups for the exterior envelops of high-rise buildings, some fancy custom beaded paneling that we’ve made for several Sun Glass Huts around the country, a project for Voya, and we’re just starting another residence in the Hamptons in NY.
In closing, I want to remind you that we are here to assist you with your projects, with not only premium materials but also our expertise. Take advantage of our skilled workforce to help with your technical issues and questions and to take advantage of our equipment. We’re here to help you succeed and build beautiful successful projects. We want you to be the hero. We’ll stay behind the scenes.
