Greetings Friends,

As we roll into spring, we are feeling like life is trending toward normalcy after almost two years of constant challenges. Prices are still high and it is difficult to find experienced employees, both for production and management. Let us know if you or someone you know is looking. We are however very grateful to be busy in both our retail lumber business and our fabrication shop.

Some current news in anticipation to expand Parkerville: We recently purchased some of the assets from a wood supply business that was located in Massachusetts. The company closed about two years ago. We purchased all of the lumber and plywood inventory which has some beautiful and unique things that we have not inventoried or stocked in the past. Western Red Cedar, Cedar, and Meranti decking material, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, premium S4S Oak, Maple, Cherry, Poplar, live edge slabs, Cedar lattice, Vertical Grain Fir, as well as a huge supply of the materials we stock here every day.

In addition to lumber, we purchased several new pieces of machinery, loads of racking, 3 forklifts, and a flatbed truck to help us move it all around. The new material has already started to arrive at Parkerville but follow us on social media to stay up to date on the latest arrivals! If you’re planning for spring work that requires exterior wood, let us know. We’ll have a better handle on our inventory in the coming weeks.

We anticipate another very busy year and look forward to servicing your lumber and machining needs.
