We have set aside a collection of Purpleheart, a beautiful hardwood that displays a unique color profile that displays hues of brown, cordovan, and purple among others. With further age and exposure to UV light, the wood becomes a dark brown with a hint of purple
Moabi (10″ X 38″)
This unique board measures 10″ X 38″ and is 1/2″ in thickness. It has a heartwood that is a rather uniform pinkish brown, sometimes darker reddish brown. The color tends to darken with age. Its grain is somewhat wavy with a fine, even texture.
