Our Project Services are designed to meet the exacting needs of our commercial clients as well as homeowners who have residential work in mind. We take a collaborative approach that is designed to help you understand all your options, such as wood selection, design options, finishing and so on. Our consultants are more than happy to guide you through your woodworking ideas. Collectively, we have over 100 years of woodworking experience, so if there is something you would like to try and need a little more than a YouTube video, we will be happy to share our knowledge. Estimates and advice are always free.
A well thought out design starts any project on the path to a successful outcome. Our talented design staff are skilled in the use of AutoCAD and CabinetVision software to bring specificity to your vision. We’re able to render both draft and final drawings and blueprints. We are also able to work off drawings or blueprints you may have.
Not unlike our residential clients, our commercial clients seek us out when they want to make the best in custom-designed creations for the workplace. Examples include custom conference tables, reception desks, paneling, casework, standing and running trim, unique wood interiors and accents, and all other custom millwork.
We are proud to provide our customers with custom designed and often one of a kind residential creations that celebrate the beauty of wood. Examples include wine rooms, custom closets and built-ins, unique kitchens and islands, custom tables, floating shelves, wainscoting, outdoor pergolas, and so on. If you can think of it, we can create it.
Our skilled and experienced craftsman can replicate and/or repair historical or period specific artifacts, including, doors, windows, wainscoting, columns, handrails, balusters or newel posts, crowns and other mouldings, casements, adornments, and so on. We are experienced in architectural restoration projects such as homes, churches, libraries, universities, and more.
Our Customer Services are designed to provide our clients with services to meet a specific need, such S4S milling, cross cutting or ripping boards or sheet goods to size, running a tabletop thorough our wide-belt sander, or creating custom millwork. We even provide our customers with sharpening services. If you’re a hobbyist woodworker, let us do some of the heavy lifting for you by milling your lumber to your specifications. Among our many services, we also provide complete custom millwork in which we build to your specifications. Examples include, doors, dining tables, kitchen islands, floating shelves, custom paneling as well as other creations. In providing an end-to-end solution, we select the appropriate lumber, mill it to your specifications and then our skilled craftsman’s begin the work of assembly, including any fine-tuning, gluing up the various components and then meticulously preparing the surface for its final finish. We keep you updated as we progress through the various steps in the process.
We offer a variety of basic and complex milling services. We operate commercial jointers, planers, moulders, shapers, sanders, and other equipment that allows us to meet most needs, whether it’s a single board or 500 board feet. We also provide short-run custom moulding services.
We offer large format sanding capabilities through our 42” wide-belt commercial sander. Supporting grit levels ranging from 36g to 150g, we are able to meet a wide range of your sanding needs. Some example of where this service may be beneficial are: live edge sanding and flattening, sanding glue tabletops, large casework components, removal of old finish from hardwood tops, and so on.
We provide CNC services where we can cut wood, plastic laminate, epoxy, solid surface and more. Our three-axis cutterhead, combined with a 12′ X 5′ bed allows us to quickly and easily cut a huge variety of components including cabinet parts and custom signage. Additionally, our CNC service can be used to flatten slabs, burl cookies, and epoxy tables that cannot be flattened by other means. Our CNC equipment is AutoCAD compatible and accepts DXF files.
Parkerville offers full architectural millwork finishing that includes custom stain and color matching, durable commercial coatings such as 2K polyurethanes, painting, oils, exterior finishes and more.
We offer sharpening services for all saw blades, router bits, machine inserts, planer & jointer knives, as well as carbide tip replacements for a fraction of the cost of a replacement. Standard turnaround is usually about one calendar week (7 days). Our ability to achieve successful sharpening outcome will depend on the blade in question and whether or not there is enough material left to take a new edge.
Note: At the present time, we do not offer sharpening services for chainsaw blades, household knives, scissors, or handsaws.
